I have really high hopes for this movie.. and from everything I've read/seen, it really looks like it could deliver.. if it does - it would have to be the exception for anime movies translating into a live action successfully.. and there's no franchise i'd rather have that credit attached to than kenshin

The fact of how faithful it all looks to the source material (anime/manga).. which of course having the creator watch over the set helps.. AND the fact that they have the budget behind them from Warner Bros.. it is rare you get to have both in combination (the big budget/company and the right people/original creators)..

and this is just a teaser, they started filming not long ago so haven't had time to put it all together.. teasers usually show minimal, so I'm impressed already like u guys

Looks like the blu-ray/DVD of the anime will be released March 2012.. also the length is 45 minutes, so that's pretty short..

I knew about the ova but not about the movie!!!!! its looking awesome from the pics youve posted!!!!! i cant wait!!! i hope it is successful cause i want more!!! i want to see Shishio in the Big Screen and the Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki!!!!!!!!
