Dunno. If for some reason shin only sells like 50-100 he will be grail. There are so many that buy only for the number attached so they wont care about original akuma or not. True fans will want the reg, but statue collectors will just want the rarer version. I personally am going one of each. After I get the reg secured im going shin, then whatever is decided about him i dont really care.

I know it sounds crazy but i really think long term shin will be more sought after just do the fact that not many except hardcore fans will be ordering him. That coupled with the fact that Jerry said he will cut off preorders if it doesnt sell well makes me think that will be the case. I could be totally wrong though.

I really want to answer this but I'll wait until after the PO.

I'd be curios to see the poll if shins es was 100 or something like that.

For me there's only the reg. shin is nothing more than a pallet swap. Gotta go with the original look.

I would have preferred the ex to be an alternate costume from 4. I especially liked the hooded outfit. That would have looked sick with the eyes lit up under the hood.

I hope their hands are interchangeable. I want to use the ropes on Shin.

^ Yeah there is a reason this thread wasn't started earlier.

Up until this point your reasoning seems to have been the other way around so do please remember to elaborate after the PO.

I hope they do lots of different things in 1/4.

I hope there is a hooded alt.

I hope there is a totally different Shin Akuma sculpt in the action line doing a Zanku Hadoken since he was the first to do two.

Yeah remind me after.
I've said enough ever since Jerry posed the original Shin question.

I'm simultaneously happy and sad about these by these polls.

Luckily Statue Forum posters represent a small percentage of the actual buyers so who knows what will happen. I just hope I can get mine - I will try for both.

And I hope everyone gets what they want.

Those considering waiting for the 1:4 scale, it will be a long time before it is in your hands. Jerry said you won't see anything about it for another year, then add production and you're looking at late 2017/2018 in hand. Take that into consideration is my advice.

That's what sucks about this hobby. I feel like I'm going to get hit by a bus before I see the statues I've ordered.

That, and the fact that the 1/4th wont be personally sculpted by his own hands.
