Here’s a concept teaser that was released. They said this wont be the statue, I think it was just for the announcement or from their concept board- but it shows you a bit where their head is maybe

Really cool looking piece, I think it captures the essence of Vash.
It’s nice to hear they’re tweaking the portrait, I don’t think it’s bad but it would be nice if it was closer to the anime. The hair is what bothers me more, too many thin strands and all the same length.
I’m looking forward to seeing more anime, they teased a bunch of titles on Instagram a while back. Like Vampire Hunter D, Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, Akira, and a bunch more.

Somebody mentioned and I agree that Vash’s portrait looks like he’s been Final Fantasy cg’d. He’s a bit less animeish. I do hope they tweak him a bit, but I think theres still plenty of awesome to purchase it. I have a few Vash collectibles and this face kills the rest of them. People love the artFX one, they dont even look at its face- but they’ll make a fuss about this one. Granted its $700...
Since Figurama is putting these out at super low edition numbers I really hope they stay away from stuff that other companies are producing and branch out into moderately popular shows from 10 years ago. Shows that other companies wont touch because they need to sell thousands of them. Give me some Monster, Outlaw Star, Durarara, Baccano, Gunsmith Cats, Hajime No Ippo, etc.
