protector - Thanks. Also, I read what your daughter wrote. Really great stuff.

Weird Kid on the Third Floor - I think of you guys a lot, and the times we had. Magic stuff, my friend.

That last quote is Stan's closing from Origins of Marvel Comics.

Someone asked somewhere else what was your favorite story by Stan. I think you'll appreciate what I wrote, Joe.

Fantastic Four #51. It encompasses tragedy, nobility, redemption...

Jesus, someone's peeling those damn onions again.

It's a story that's haunted me since I was a kid.

It's a story that shows that Stan really knew what it was to be a man.

No surprise there. He was "The Man," after all.

You know what's funny? I'm listening to Boston "A Man I'll Never Be" right now. Dammit, someone's peeling those onions in the kitchen again...

Stan captured the magic of childhood, of dreamers, like no one else.

And if we're not dreamers, than what the hell are we?

Friggin' onions....

Perhaps, just perhaps, that's what Marvel's really all about.

I've been reading tributes and clips of Stan and although I never met him, feels like I lost someone close to me.

I don't recall but I hope Stan at least received a star on the Walk of Fame.

This was a good tribute. I am not going to lie, I did tear up a little.
