I never liked the reeves movies even as kid. However I think he looked the part and there was this amazing scene he did where he transformed from Clark Kent to Superman
That posture change , he was really playing two charchter even physically. Cavills was a reluctant Clark Kent, his Clark Kent was superman with glasses.

I guess I'm looking at this poll differently. I'm looking at it as in the ideal world - who do I think looks the part of Superman. The story is obviously going to be dictated by things other than looks.

So for Whose My Superman "Superficial" Style: Christopher Reeve, but damn if Henry Cavill isn't just a fiiiinnneeee lookin man He just gets beat because he's too attractive to be a mild-mannered Clark
Kent.

Whatever the movies' limitations and faults, Reeve was the best Superman AND the best Clark Kent by a mile.

I voted Reeve cause he was one of my earliest memories of the character and I loved those movies as a kid. That being said MoS is one of my favorite movies ever. I loved the portrayal. This "he has no heart" argument is so lame man. It's not like his dad was begging for help and he just didn't help or that he didn't save those kids on the bus or fight to save the planet. And look around you people fear and even hate what they don't understand. His father was trying to protect him in an imperfect manner, you know like every other parent on the planet tries to protect their kids. It was about a young superman coming into his own learning his way.
