Yeah, that statue really suffers compared to Anck...I don't know how anyone could say that it's more "anatomically" correct than what ARH did...

I think ARH pieces have a long ways to go in improving their anatomy. You can see way more detail in the Siren. Just look at their torsos. Also, one thing good about other companies, they don't reuse old sculpts. I guess it all comes down to your taste if you like stripper-Barbies, then yes, this one is nice. I used to own the original Cleopatra, she was nice 7 years ago. Their original medusa had great anatomy, not just a smooth midsection. That was a great piece.

They would probably place it on his stomach or his butt. I am just basing that off the nipple placement on their female pieces now.

It is a beautiful piece and Newman is a master of anatomy.
Pretty sure he would never do nipples pointing north.

The Siren is a gorgeous and mysterious statue. That picture is literally the worst I have ever seen of her. Mark Newman is undboutedly one of the best in the biz and a LONG time favorite of mine. The Siren's top is removable and her nipples are placed perfectly and realistically on her her perfect and realistic breasts. ARH could never replicate the quality of this piece because their leader seems to have his own ideas on how a woman should look.

She is supposed to look that way.
I think it is a beautiful piece mixing beauty and monster.
