I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

If you're going to keep it "forever", then have her sign it, especially since it sounds like a nostalgic piece. If you may sell/trade it at some point, I'd leave it alone.

tough call ... the art looks so clean and perfect as is ... my first inclination is not to get it signed but I have no attachment to the piece. If I had the same attachment as you describe, I could easily see myself getting it signed. I assume you would be able to get it signed in person? I would not let that piece out of my sight. I would also want to make sure it was a nice clean signature.

Yep, the signature should fit the both existing signings. A fat marker would ruin the art IMO.

I'm inclined to say nay, have her sign something else and frame them together if thats what you intend to do.

Isn't this in the same vein as having productions cels signed by the voices?

From your answer, there is clearly a personal meaning to you with this piece and you should have her sign it.

Most say not to do it. But I'm sure this is why red is my favorite color and she was my favorite character growing up. All because of this cartoon. I remember buying the video cassette used from the video store for $10 it was on VHS but we had a Beta. I used to beg to use other people VCR's so I could watch my Spider-Woman cartoon. I still remember the voice as if she is sitting next to me. I appreciate all of the advise but I think I will be getting it signed... Or because February is my travel month for work and the signing is on Feb 13, and 14 my decision may be made for me...
