Yeah, when DM first mentioned it, if I'm honest, I thought it was a dumb idea. I couldnt fathom why someone would want to use anything other than the sculpted cape it came with. But after seeing finished photos, I'm glad to admit I was wrong. Both DM's Batman cape and Superman cape look great. He really knocked it out of the park. If I commisioned one (if he did it) I'd want the Superman cape a little longer, but thats a preference thing, not a gripe.

haha! nothing wrong with being honest. i actually welcome it. so thank you for your honesty. im really happy that you like it and i was able to change your outlook on the fabric cape.
not only does it definitely increases the realism factor for the entire piece. it also cuts down on the weight significantly of the statue. helps out with those weight limits on the shelves if you want to display Supes and Bats together. but i just love the realism the real fabric capes bring to a piece.

ok here it is,
i know it still pretty much looks the same.
but its finalized and all sewn up and looking pretty killah if i might add.
