Romita only drew four issues of this series and his style imitates voluntarily (or perhaps pressured by Marvel) the style of Kirby, who had left Marvel to go to DC. This saga is the same that Kirby abandoned, the Fantastic Four vs. Magneto.
After this, the collection was continued by Big John, but that's another story...
