Hawkgirl or Hawk Woman?

Hawkwoman is really Shiera Sanders Hall from the Super Powers era while Hawk Girl is Kendra Saunders from the post crisis JSA and later JLA. I'm really hoping for Shiera or this version of the Hawks right now to keep the satellite era Justice League of America going.

also a close up of Hawkman

Let's let Hawkwoman speak for herself and take a look at the style guide.

I have no strong feelings. I grew up with Hawkgirl, but woman is fine.

"Hawkgirl" is just typically Golden Age (Shiera) and current/modern age (Kendra), but the character that was present throughout the Silver Age (Shayera Hol), the Super Powers era, and the JLA satellite era was "Hawkwoman."

She's more mature, a peer/contemporary of Wonder Woman, Black Canary, and Zatanna, and an adult, married woman. We already have Batgirl, Supergirl, Wonder Girl, and (presumably) Powergirl. I don't see any reason to not acknowledge the maturation of the character by calling her "Hawkwoman."

Even the licensed DC graphic that was used in the poll (that she won) clearly states "Hawkwoman."

Either way is fine with me as to the naming. I will call it Hawkgirl or Hawkwoman depending on my mood. LOL

I say put both names on the packaging. One on the front and the other on the back

Personally I prefer Hawkgirl, but I'm fine either way and understand why people want to stick with Hawkwoman so its more era appropriate. I like the colors of the Hawkgirl pictured better than Hawkwoman. A hybrid between the two or swap out heads might work too.

I do think that the gauntlets from this Hawkgirl need to be there if there are going to be any hand switch-outs.

Neither Hawkwoman in the comics nor Hawkgirl on the animated show wore gauntlets. What is that even from?

This is not an animated Justice League line. I get that they used Shayera's name and likeness on the show and called her "Hawkgirl", thus adding to the confusion, but that has nothing to do with a vintage-inspired comic book statue line.
