Just found lots of pictures of what seems to be this (with the Chronicle logo on the pics) via a quick Google search. No idea if they are official however, it may even be the original prop so I shall let Paul post them when he's good and ready...

Our artist that is working on this has had a few medical emergencies in his life and we've not wanted to press him at all. As soon as it's finished I'll post a few more pics.

Will be worth the wait if you are a Flash fan.

Paul

That does look good. I don't let myself get too excited since we found out the price of the Rodger young kit tbh, but I'll be watching all of these Chronicle ship projects from a far and admiring them as people post pictures. This looks very impressive.

The Rodger Young is a massive amount of parts and it's 36" long with photo-etched brass catwalks and decals. How much should I have charged for it in your opinion?

Well, to give an honest answer, I have no idea what the costs etc are, I appreciate you are a business and need to make money of course. I can only speak as a potential customer, probably the target customer in fact given I'm a kit builder, a huge fan of starship design and that specific ship design is probably my personal favorite. I can only say that 600+ is way more than I'd pay for a kit, no matter how nice it may be, but then I have high shipping costs and import duty to worry about also, so maybe the USA would be the ideal market as much as it pains me to say it.

I think part of the problem also is that a much lower price of $250 was hinted at early on in production. At that price I didn't even question whether I'd buy one or not... I'd probably have taken two. But again, I understand you changed the production process to a higher quality. The thing is with kit builders, we don't mind a bit of clean up etc, it's all part of the hobby. So if it was an option to go back to a cheaper production method and with a lower price tag to boot, it might be worth considering in future. And I'm not trying to criticise here at all, hopefully this will be helpful and honest feedback. I'd seriously hate to see such an awesome piece canned for good, it's simply beautiful...

Yep moral of the story is I will no longer give dates, prices or photos until it's ready to order.
