Hope these come out perfect going to keep my legendary set that's about all I have left with PCS. If the 1/3 Cammy comes out looking great I think I will get one but probably won't preorder it would just wait for in hand pics.

I mean if you just look at the production queue there's quite a bit of stuff ahead of it to come so I don't expect it too soon.

Other than PCS's inner circle, none has seen Chun-Li 1/3 in person at a con.

I wonder what will happen to Chun-Li 1/3 the prototypes once the production pieces have shipped?

Maybe PCS will ebay them
..if they do, i'll be going for the Classic
..as i have Alpha on pre_order.

prototypes tend to get roughed up during production, often beyond realistic repair or even entirely destroyed or lost

so unless they made duplicates for show pieces probably not ;p

That's sad, Chun-Li being roughed up by the Chinese

I guess PCS still has the original sculpt(s)
..not to mention, various cast/3D prints of work in progress pieces.

That truly is sad considering the paintwork on the prototype is arguably the best version you will ever see. I often wondered what happened to the prototypes from various companies and if they ever made their way into private collections. I just assumed the companies kept them as the "ultimate" example of each piece they produced.
