How long did it take to get a statue?
In the good old days? I've been paying attention for about a year and a half and its taking a year or more to get an item in hand. So how long was the wait in the good old days? Why does it take so long?

Too much damn product! Waste of resources if you ask me. Just because we have resources to use doesn't always mean that you should. SS has fallen into this line of thinking and business.

in the "old" days, they still used to miss the ETA but their guesses were much closer to the actual release and delays were not quite as common.
Now I take whatever day they say and add another 6-8 months minimum with anywhere from 2-4 delays sprinkled in
Too many product lines, too high ES (or open editions). Considering how long it takes them to put something out, one would think that QC would be top-notch most of the time.

For Sideshow I would add 2-4 months. Sideshow used to be better at release dates, along with other aspects like customer service. I used to always make fun of Bowen Designs. They would never release anything on time. They are about 8-12 months late. But Sideshow it getting there.

I don't mind too much product I love seeing new licenses and products, sometimes I buy into them sometimes I don't. I don't mind waiting a year for pieces plenty of stuff to play catch up on in between
I remember the scarlet witch comiquette taking about 14 months

I've been collecting Sideshow statues for a few years now and it seems that more and more the delays are just standard procedure...But in fact, it is much more than that. I believe the Night Slasher sums it up best...

It's getting worse and worse with sideshow.
To much broken or defected pieces and the qc sucks big time.
Now Weta is back and they asking and listen to the people so that's a good move and SSC never did.
