I am just not feeling this. He is way to muscular, not a fan of the base and if I only saw the head sculpt I would not think it was the Punisher. I usually love Erick's work but not everything can be a homerun. My favorite Punisher statue by far is the classic one picture above but it is out of scale with the rest of Bowen's statues and it bothered me enough to sell mine.

Agreed, although I do like the Bowen. I'm still thinking of getting the Gentle Giant animated looking Punisher, it's pretty nice.
Though I did have the Sideshow Comiquette years ago, I had to sell it way back, regret that one to this day. Maybe I'll snag that again one day if I can get a good price.

I know some of you have issues with the portraits but I think they are pretty spot on. I definitely see Jim Lee's influence on one portrait and Ariel Olivetti's on the other one. Both artists had good runs on the character and I have no problems with the portraits.

Me neither. I like both portraits on this.
I don't mind his musculature on this either. It's one of the ways Frank Castle is portrayed. He has no superpowers ...and is an ex-marine. He has to keep himself in top physical form in order to do what he does ... just like Batman. He doesn't just fight with weapons, he fights with his hands too.

Liking this statue. Not as bothered by his gun show arms, but the portraits look juuust a little small to me. It could also be angles on the photos, which I hope is the case.

The Bowen Classic and Modern Punishers (museum poses) are far better with scale. Not sure the Koto will get me to part with either one.

hmm at first this wasn't my cup o tea. I really prefer the classic costume. But this image got me interested. As a modern representation this is pretty cool. I dig all the switch out parts and great that the t-shirt hides the seams.

Ha I notice stuff like this too. However, in several comics him (and other soldier characters) have been portrayed this way..so I don't fault the sculptors. But yeah it would be nice to see them practice good trigger discipline.
One thing I have not seen mentioned yet…did they forget the rear site on the M4?
