Marvel vs Capcom 3 announced!

Well looks like this is coming sooner then expected. Wonder if its been in the works for a long time just kept it under wraps. With them saying its a mix of SF4 and MVC2 it may be a fun game. I just hope its not watered down with 3 buttons etc... Want to get those old fashioned 6 button game play back.

Confirmed characters so far are Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto, Storm and a few others will return.

The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 development team said they will be blowing fans out of the water with the sheer number of characters this game includes on the disc.

This will be another 2D fighter gameplay-wise but will be something of a cross between the original Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 4.

The rumored release date is late 2010 or early 2011 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, no plans right now for other systems.

The game will run in 1080p resolution.

It will be a disc-based release.

Apparently the game will have unlockables again.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be playable at this year's E3 which is held on June 15 - 17th.

I bet they do a lot of clones in the game tho. Like the iron man and war machine or wolverine adamantium or bone claws.

If they put out the effort into whole new characters or use sprites from older SFA i will be shocked. I wouldnt expect the game to be balanced tho, cause for it to come out so soon, no way they will test it like they are doing with Super SF4. Going to be a more fun game to mash with your fav toons.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeah, it's time for all new sprites. I'll probably wait for the game to drop in price if it's the old character sprites again. They need to go back to character theme music as well after the cheesy stuff that is in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
