New York Comic Con attendance hits San Diego-sized numbers

In only six years the event has shown a 700% increase in attendance.

People were pissed because when they got there, the autographs were pre-signed. When it came time to take the pic, people were told not to talk to him, don't touch him, just lean in, take the pic and leave.

That's too funny. Besides that I would never pay for that, even less with that attitude.

Please!! I can have an autograph from Stan "the Man" for less than that, with pictures and all.

I don't see the point of getting autographs from douchy actors when you are at a comics convention. They probably don't even know the difference between Marvel and DC.

Stan Lee was doing autographs at a booth on the show floor Saturday & it was chaos. The made the mistake of having it on the show floor instead of autograph alley. It blocked the aread and they almost called the Fire Marshalls because they only took the 1st 200 people for the 1st autograph session & people refused to leave.

I was one of the people that was waiting for Stan Lee to start signing. The security guard said one thing the events manager said another. There was no reason to leave since they did not have there act together. Just aweful how they handle it every year but that is the NYCC experience when it comes to Stan Lee.
