BURBANK, Calif. -- What if our greatest heroes became our greatest threat? Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Injustice: Gods Among Us, an all-new game in development by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, creators of the definitive fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat. The game is scheduled for release in 2013 for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and the Wii U system from Nintendo.

Injustice: Gods Among Us debuts as a bold new fighting game franchise that introduces a deep, original story featuring a large cast of favorite DC Comics icons such as Batman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and many others. Set in a world where the lines between good and evil are blurred, players will experience heroes and villains engaging in epic battles on a massive scale.

“With Injustice: Gods Among Us, we are creating an all-new franchise with incredible battles set in the DC Comics Universe,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “NetherRealm Studios is the extremely talented team behind the latest Mortal Kombat hit and it is developing a game unlike any other in the fighting genre.”

I saw the trailer but both me, Vince & probably Ryu agree that it's crap.

pretty early to say its crap based on like 5 seconds of early gameplay footage lol but I guess I should expect it now around here, anyway netherrealm is making it so at least it will have loads of content and im pretty positive it'll at least be better then the joke that is sf x tekken

reason i say i won't be into it and it won't be a popular game. Doesn't seem like a game i would be watching in streams and at EVO as a serious fighting game.

Just gives me that feel its for the casual gamer who likes to play their favorite char. Not saying thats a bad thing, just doesn't appeal to me to much since i like competitive game play like SF4 offers.

Im just tired of the game companies who focus on eye candy and not good game play.

if this was something similar to MvC or SF it would be pretty cool but in MK style its destine to fail but maybe the story mode be cool
