Yeah I didn't have any issues with Ikea shipping either, they called me to say they would deliver the next day between 10am - 2pm

The next day I get a call from them saying they will be at my house in about 20 mins... since my work is only 5 mins away from my house I just drove over there and meet them, signed for it and they put the boxes inside my living room for me...

Sounds like issues might arise if you can't be home for delivery... It's not UPS or FedEx but a trucking shipping company so they don't have much flexibility if you can't be home to sign for it..

Any ideas to reinforce PAX shelves? I have attached rails along the edges of the shelves to prevent bowing but feel like something other than the included plastic clips should be used. I have seen these recommended but cannot find them in the US.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

People have been drilling these brackets underneath the shelves.

I finally got my pax build finished. Wanted to give a big thank you to all those who posted tips. I have zero experience building anything but was able to do it thanks to all the helpful posts. I used a lot of shelf support and put an Led strip on the inside of the doors. My local ace hardware cut the acrylic panels. Thanks again everyone.

I'm stuck finding a hard time with doors. I have bestas. But they stopped selling the original door that didn't have a large frame on them. It covers up a good portion of the statue you are trying to display.

I think the newer ones are Sindvik. I don't really like those but I dont have a choice. Not sure why they don't just sell a whole door that goes on the floor of the besta itself. You have to buy 3 for each one. That adds up quick. But my main problem is the height of each statue isn't the same so the display would be really awkward if you adjust the shelves.

It's very easy to build your own shelving unit and there are many brackets you can find at the hardware stores. Not only brackets but steel pieces to help re-inforce your shelf and you don't have to weld.

Looks awesome! I am having trouble being able to see how you handled the doors. Are they sliding doors? How did you make them? I really need to get my plan together. Lots o big stuff coming in.
