Crap, was hoping for a much longer wait time before pre orders started. There is just no way I can add something like this in the next couple of months, regardless of the price. I just pre ordered the Newman Catwoman and I am literally at my limit. That was my last pre order at least until June. Hopefully this doesnt sell out really fast.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does the term ''canon'' refer to?

Canon refers to anything that's considered an official part of a story. Something like the Alien King isn't considered canon by most because it was never in the films. There was an Alien King in the comics but it wasn't this version.

I wouldn't worry, OC. Based on past preorders, this piece will be up for preorder for several months before Sideshow even sets an ES so I think you will be fine if you don't preorder until June or even July assuming it does go on preorder in May.

Canon or not, I'm just glad Sideshow is giving the Alien universe attention. I would like to see this line to expand like the SW mythos with new original ideas, especially if Legacy is involved.

Does anyone know why the Alien King has the name ''Internecivus Raptus Rex''?As the Alien species has always been known as the Xenomorph.Cheers!

Xenomorph isn't the name of their species, they were never officially given one. The name "Internecivius Raptus" has been suggested in the extras. It translates as murderous thief which seems appropriate. The Rex part is probably just a fun little addition by Sideshow. Rex - the reigning king.
