I just tried it on the Maximum Carnage set and you're right, it isn't working on it anymore, huh. I did toss in a few other items to check if it's still active (couple of Transformers, couple of Marvel toys, Mighty Mugg blanks) and it definitely still works.

I guess they're making it not apply to some of the exclusive items? Weird.

i didn't even know there were new ones. i wish they'd make it available locally.

my question is why did they choose to go with mini muggs and not the "full size" ones?

I got mine from TRU - and I was wondering ahy they went with the Mini-Muggs too - but I think I actually prefer them to the original sized ones now!

Did hasbro ever officially say what happened to release of the previous Mighty muggs seen at conventions years back? I.e Iceman, Deadpool etc..
