The moulds to cast that in PVC i imagine are super expensive too, PVC isn't the enemy when it's totally justified and makes total sense.

I'm not sure what my Palisades Queen tail is made out of but it was a nightmare removing it from the styrofoam. Took me 15 minutes to remove it from 2 pieces of wood and heavy duty clamps swearing all the way. When I was looking for the statue quite a few sellers had broken tails and teeth.

I'm pretty anti PVC myself in terms of whole statues being made of the stuff at these prices. HOWEVER, it has legitimate uses and always will. The tail on this will be very fragile if made out of polystone, so as long as they manage to match the look and texture of the tail and the rest of it (assuming the rest is of a different material) I don't mind at all that it's made from plastic.

The description doesn't state PVC at all. It is referred yo as a 'polystone maquette' in the blog description. Even if the tail was PVC, who cares? Once its all painted up and put together you won't even know.

Just for the record.
"The massive Xenomorph’s body is sculpted in the same biomechanical style for which H.R. Giger’s creatures are famous, with sinewy limbs and a segmented PVC tail curling protectively around her hellish offspring."

I'll most likely do the same, there's an awful lot of Alien product on the way, and a lot of it is very exciting! I like this myself, although those warriors really need enlarging a bit, despite what most people believe, they were actually larger than the big chap and some even had an extra pair of ribs to make up for the added height. I can't help thinking that the king and his base etc flows a lot nicer over all. But still, this is a nice little diorama.
