I don't think you made a mistake. I really want to get the more recent Classic Museum also even tho it looks much like the Modern Museum without the gold and cape. Have the first one where he is clenching his fists and love it.

The Classic Museum Panther is too plain for my tastes. There isn't enough detail on the costume. I wish they would have included a cape on that version as well and maybe lightened the coloration on the gloves and boots for a little more contrast.

The Captain America Bronze or the Cable Retro would be my Grails!

As for what was never made that I really lobbied for...the Mantis! I'm just happy Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be using a version of her which means the potential of a good statue is somewhere down the line. But I really wanted her from Bowen Designs

I've seen plenty of Cable retros on eBay and there are some now. So it's not like you couldn't get your Grail.

They are a lot more plentiful after Rocky's Vault was open for a couple of years. Having owned it I will say it is a real gem.

Grails can change and I agree it's kind of subjective.

My Thanos on Throne is a grail piece to me because despite the small blemishes, it is one of the most iconic capturing of the mad titan in statue form.

On the other hand right now I'd consider the modern warlock a grail of mine because I've been wanting one for over a year. I know he is technically obtainable... I just am not comfortable with the prices I'm seeing on eBay so I can't afford him yet. Still out of reach!

I agree with the price issue completely!

Those that still remember me from back in the day know I would pay what it took to get what I wanted. Now, as my collecting slows down, price and product are major concerns dictating whether I get what I want or more importantly, whether I get my grail.

I actually stopped looking to own this but yay for fellow collectors hooking others up --

As much as I miss having the missing Marvel characters we were suppossed to get, i'd like to see Randy work with creator owned properties again as well. There are so much to work with now too!
