Playimaginative is at Singapore for the Singapore Toys Games and Comics Convention STGCC 2013.

There is no competition. These are 1/4 priced at $600-650+ and hot toys is 1/6 at $250-300 range. Most collectors are not willing to pay these prices for 1/4 diecasts. How many $600+ iron-man suits is one willing to buy? It will be for the hardcore fans most likely and limited market.

I'd take a die cast Mark 1 or 2, but nothing else. The stuff from IM 3 looked best on film.

If you see them in person, the paint application doesn't hold up. The colours aren't as rich as the HT applications - it actually looks more like plastic than HT does.

Realistically, you only feel the die cast if you pick it up and how many of us actually "play" with our "toys"?

On display, the HT versions are substantially better.

My take anyway.
