If I wasn't getting Boba & Vader PF's I'd definitely pick this up. Can't afford it right now.

I guess you're a Monkey Uncle!

Price is ok.. comparing all the accessories it comes with it to the Boba from Sideshow.. PLUS I am sure the quality and paint up will be much better..

i can not wait to see the next 1/4 from HT .. this is a pass for me for now.. dont need 3 1/4 bobas .. but im certain I am in with the next they come up with

I'm in for this! I've literally just started to revisit 1/6th "Action Figures"

But this is interesting above and beyond any PF that Sideshow can offer. I just don't trust Sideshow final quality. Yes, some products come out well, but with regards to Hot Toys that percentage goes up drastically. Considering what the least reputable 1/6 companies are able to produce, I'm expecting a lot from this offering!

In some respects, I'm quite surprised to see a product like this, as it directly challenges Sideshows core products......namely, PF mixed media statues. Yes, I realise this is an articulated figure, but once the pose is set, it may as well be a statue. The fact that you can repose it is an added bonus.

Ok it's not Polystone, but is that a big detractor if the quality and finish is there?

I just hope they do some character portraits! Then things are going to get serious

I can't see many advantages the PF has over this.

Totally surprised Sideshow is even sending an email blast for this.

Be nice if Hot Toys took over PF and Sideshow gave sculpts more attention. If you're gonna wrap something in fabric why not have it be poseable?

Still think the Mythos owns both PFs old and new and this as well.

It amazes me ht doesn't do more 1/4 figs. At only $50 more than the new pf, we know qc and paint apps are generally better than ss and you have more options with these. Boxes are smaller too. They should be releasing 2-3 per year, not one like every two years.
