Judging from the angles of the few pics on here, Vader's mask looks good, but that helmet looks way too big.

I keep seeing Dark Helmet from Spaceballs.

Here's some other low angle screenshots of him...

I'm a Star Wars nerd just as much as the next guy, but I can say that I'm not one of those technical nit-picky Star Wars nerds. However, it's kinda easy to spot a big helmet, and I think this Hot Toys helmet is just a little too big.

Still a little hard to judge, so I might be wrong, and maybe I am once we start to see different angles of this.

it's a good sculpt. It's just that it is from ROTS. I prefer the original trilogy.

very tempting... I thought this was their 1/6 scale fig when I saw that first pic (shows what a vader expert I am lol). I do prefer this costume a little more, seams a little more streamlined although I obviously much prefer the OT movies. on the fence about the helmet though, need to see more pics from other angles. I would probably have to make my own base which isn't a huge deal, passed on the ssc pf due to several reasons a big one being the pose so this would be a nice option

I didn't take a lot of shots, but here's a closeup of him.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Since it is ROTS Vader I will pass, but will wait for a 1:4 Stormtrooper.

With the sabers I could help a little, but not sure if it's the thread for this, so better not.

the more I look at the helmet the more it bugs me, it definitely looks too big (at least from this angle) hopefully they fix it before they put it into production like they did with the bale batman cowl

Everyone on this forum and others keeps saying its from ROTS, but if you look at the saber, it's not. Also when I was at the booth at Celebration the Hot Toys guy who was there said that this was only a rushed mock up. I doubt it will be ROTS when time comes for release.
