Thanks for the link! Great group shot here for comparison.

The two on the left look great. Snake on the right, fails to match the look of the character in the game (atleast from the neck up).

Agreed. There's something off with his resemblance and is the weakest of the three.

Quiet 1/6 - Gecco arrived yesterday
For 1/6th scale PVC i'm impressed.

Here are some snap shots. Slightly dark. I really should buy a better camera and learn how to light.

Assembling Quiet takes a fair amount of thought as to ‘how to..’ without breaking, using high pressure, to assemble.

While the base looks as solid as a rock (or rocks) it is infact quite thin feeling.
Solid PVC would have impressed more.

There is very little weight, almost none, with regards to the base.

On a Quiet note, i've spotted on ebay:
Play Arts Kai Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain Quiet Action Figure

The original's sold out fast (i own one) and they go for quite a high price now (between £280 to £500+). I 've spotted a number of them on ebay selling for around £30+ and wondered if there had been a re-issue?

On closer inspection, comparing images, i've reached the conclusion they are fake. One difference is the front of the hair (the original had a longer spike not to mention better definition). On the fake figure the green straps appear to be smooth. Just thought i'd share.

Some ebay sellers appear to use stock images of the original all the while listing the item at £30+

There is a ton of them on ebay right now:

If it's from China it is probably fake. If it's from Japan then it's an original.

Good catch there ukshaun! Although very subtle, I can see the variations on the right photo.

Ebay are still listing them. And sellers are using stock images of the original. I can only imagine there will be many disappointed customers, or customers that think the final product failed to match the prototype by quite a margin.

It is about time Hot Toys worked their magic on Quiet.
