Most Older Tomb Raider fans will disagree but the new Games are more legit than the older ones, so it makes sense this film would be as well.
It looks like they're taking the story from the first game and playing with it a little to make sure people who played the game are at least a little surprised by the plot.

Very low expectations going in to be honest. Alicia Vikander is a great great choice for Lara ,but that's where it stops , you can tell this movie has been done on a minimal budget . This is such a rich established franchise, if they wanted to they could really go for a good wholesome tribute to Indiana Jones with a compelling narrative and mystery . But this looks like a simple cookie cutter Bad guy in the jungle narrative. Nothing epic. This is much better than the first trailer but that's not really an achievement , that line "You messed with the wrong family" said a lot about the direction of this movie.
This movie will probably added to the long list of disappointing Videogame movies.

In the new comics and video games Lara Croft is not super busty like the original was. So the movie does match the current comic books and video games in looks.
Given all the feminist movement of late with the #me2 stuff, females in comics are being drawn more with B and C cups then FFF cups of years ago...
