Look at this weight comparison, found this interesting :

BBTS have the shipping weight as 91 Pounds for the Giger's ALIEN and only 28 Pounds for the Blue Warrior head.

Looks like the Giger's ALIEN piece is of serious construction, 91 pounds is like 41 Kilo's!!!!!

41Kg is blooming HEAVY!!!!

That's an Olympic bar with 21kg added, I'm sure it will be a mistake, or a place holder. Sideshow still has the weight as TBD. Unless this is in a huge box for some reason and that's the dimensional weight? Doesn't bode well for the shipping costs if so. I Still can't believe the price at CDUK, do they even want any business?

Regarding price into the UK :

Giger's ALIEN = 1799.99 USD
Shipping = 150 USD?
Sub Total : 1949.99 USD

UK Import Duty & Tax (say 25%) = 487.49 USD

TOTAL = 2437.48 USD or £1882.48

Cheaper than CDUK's £2250 but problems arise if you need to return it as previously suggested.

Yeah, it makes no sense. I appreciate they are in it to make a bit of profit, but who would pay that? And I would assume they are getting discounts on the items. Sideshow have a good customer service, they will sort out most issue the customer might have this end. Including a full refund if the worst came to the worst. I know where I'll be buying it from if I figure out a way of affording it...

I just added the Alien Warrior head to my cart on Sideshow. It came up with a shipping quote of $105 ($101 for the dog) which is much better than the Predator was, a third of that in fact. There's no reason this should be much more really..

I did ask them for the TRUE weight and they just looked at the message and did not bother to reply .
