I'm on the opposite end here. I've had so many sideshow statues turn out bad (Hulk PF ripped pants, chipped Superman base, cross eyed Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Catwoman and Harley Quinn, painted cracking Psylocke, bad face Rogue, every part of Spider-Woman). But my Iron Studios Spidey turned out fine. There's a few plastic pieces but it's still a polystone statue. And polystone, no matter how you look at it, is plastic itself.

I think this looks awesome. Not necessarily better than what I already have, but it still looks exciting.

I'll have to agree the iron studios spider kicks As*!!the presence of it is amazing it's just extremely poorly made it could have been one of the best if so many people (probably 90%) hadn't got so many bad ones
Concept of it was amazing
Craftsmanship and execution absolutely terrible !!!
Putting it together reminded me of building a house of playing cards

Still like the OG Spidey COM best for my favorite 1/4 Spidey (even though he's a little larger than 1/4 scale). The recent Spidey PF comes in a very close 2nd for me. My favorite 1/6 Spidey is the Koto Fine Arts piece by Sosa. This XM Spidey doesn't really do much for me.

Same here. If the face had an actual nose it would be a 100% perfect statue, but it's pretty damn close as it is.

I agree. The comiquette is still my favorite. It's my picture over there to the left. Lol. It's my personal #1 statue period. XM Black Panther is now my #2.

Anyone thoughts on Spidey 2099 from Prime 1 and Sideshow? I'm on ex waiting list, looks phenomenal. If yall got a spare iron spider, send him my way.

I think the Prime 1 2099 piece is absolutely stellar. I would have jumped on the EX had it been classic Spidey (or had I had a history with the 2099 version).
