I think this bust should hold its value. The Giger links (with plaque), the ES and the fact that there are no comparable products of this accuracy should see to that. I'm not so sure about the maquette however. It's open ES and Prime 1 are making another in the same scale which will no doubt be spectacular. I love the CP version, but they need to at least put an ES number on it.

I read somewhere that they will be putting an es on the maquette. IMO, the value on it comes from being a replica of what is at the museum and it is also displayed there. Hopefully it comes with a certificate and plaque, too.

Nope, they aren't at this stage, straight from the horses mouth a couple of weeks ago. I agree with you on the accuracy, I like it a lot. I'm just not sure that it is guaranteed to keep its value in todays climate. I could be very wrong however, I guess it depends on how rare it actually turns out to be once they end production..... And how Prime 1's version is received.

Same answer they gave for the 1:1 P2 bust etc. None of which ever ended up with an announced ES, certainly no numbers on the actual statues.
