Just read issues 7-8. There are some good reveals. I don't understand, was it the electrum itself that made the Talon heal/not age?
So on Earth 2, there must be a Court of Bats running around Gotham.

So, I am not really looking forward to this guy being a Villain but I am interested to see how you guys trash the latest book.
Honestly though I think Zach did a great job with what he was given to write for the new Batman.Yet, I wish they could keep the original past out of it.

I like how Scott wrote and treated Gotham as a character. I still need to read the latest issue

I feel a little disappointed by the reveal. A few years back Thomas Elliot pops up out of nowhere as Bruce's long lost best friend, then we get Damian showing up as his long lost son, now this guy is his long lost brother. The whole thing just feels played out. I've really been digging Court of Owls up until this issue, but this one fell flat for me.

The other two I didn't mind as much honestly. I thought they were great additions to the team (Well Damian took a little bit to get used to.)However, I do agree that I wish Jr would have just been a new villain instead of just another one of Bruce Wayne's shadows. What happened to villains like Two face, Clayface, and Killer Croc? I am really missing cool detective stories involving these guys.

Ok...I am avoiding this thread like the plague.....but had to chime on with something.
Talon #0 launches after this story arc? really? Why not leave well enough alone and have ALL the Talons remain under the control of the Court? Seems like a single character just wont last long.
