Sorry, it was by Icons Replicas, not Palisades. The base was amazing - it looked like still life, and the rocks holding the egg in position was a great touch.
There was also a Raptor claw

I remember those. They are for me almost grail pieces now. They're so rare and go for a lot of money unfortunately when they do come up. As you say Tidus, they were amazing pieces. The egg especially is ultra rare.
I managed to get a really good reproduction of the claw for £30 a few years a go. Not the real thing, but at the price, I was pretty chuffed.

I love the mud base on this piece, it's clever and creative. I'm tempted to order one as a companion piece to the raptor bust - either that or the baby raptors, I can't decide!

They were truly something. Unfortunately I wasn't around when they were released - although, personally, I don't have much interest in a raptor egg. I pay double to get anything here

I still want to try and find an original Icons raptor claw, but the Icons egg is AWESOME. Got really lucky and found someone local who was selling theirs complete, minus the plexiglass case. I put it in my display with a base that's a little more proper for the movie than the rock base. Honestly, while I really like what Chronicle has done with their egg, I just can't imagine it being a big enough improvement over this one to warrant a second dip. Not with all the other cool stuff they have coming.
