The average Australian mortgage is about $550,000 AUD, which equates to about $2,500 AUD a month (to maybe $2,800 depending on how it's structured over 30 years etc). That is around $1,875 USD.

Yeah I guess I'm lucky as my mortgage is just barely lower, but it does make you think more about how much these "toys" cost lol.

I wish my mortgage was less than this statue! Lol. I guess I'm what you'd consider house poor. Oh well, if anybody needs a place to store their statues I've got plenty of space!
