JND Studios: 1:3 Catwoman - Tim Burton's 1992 Batman Returns.

Glad I was lurking in this thread a couple of days ago as I had no idea JND's next statue was MP Catwoman.

Ordered the standalone piece!

Seeing this gives me hope they'll do a Michael Keaton Batman and Jack Nicholson Joker soon.

At this price level I would think people would be looking at these as "forever" pieces of their collection, not just "why not?" additions with transitory appeal.

Definitely a good deal for states where they don't charge sales tax

Agree. I am sure the single version will definitely not be available as in stock ever in any shop but duo version will.

So pre-order the single version if you still can or would be second hand/waitlist at JND for those who cannot fulfill the final payment.

Nope, no, no, no......this is marketing B.S. just to get people to buy. Where's Aquaman? Where's JL Batman? Where's TDK Bane? Where's anyone else from LotR? What's happening with Suicide Squad?.....anyone expecting anything else from the anime One Piece? In every case JND has "hinted" that they might make more characters from this or that line - and those hints have invariably lead to nothing, vapourware.

If there's one thing JND has demonstrated, since it's inception, that is the fact you can't trust them to commit to a "line" of characters. They jump around from I.P. to I.P. seemingly without ryhmm or reason.

People need to buy their products as a one and done deal - without the expectations of any companion pieces. If they do a companion piece, great - but don't expect or hope for it, if you want to avoid disappointment.

Wiki Figures doesn't work for JND, he's just a youtuber with insider information. As mentioned, Catwoman has been a done product for at least seven months, put on hold only because of the Hollywood strike - work on potential new releases from Tim Burton's world may have advanced in the interim.

As for your examples, Aquaman was a perceived flop, Snyder's JL is essentially a no-go license now, LOTR wasn't probably well received, One-Piece was an experiment that may have not been as successful as they hoped and I don't think anyone really expected anything else from Suicide Squad.

Because of the price point, a high price, i will never pick up another JND piece. I do not mean this negatively, it is my reality.

Wiki figures is a "brand ambassador" - he was even given access to, and a grand tour of JND studios. If you really think he's impartial, and not getting (at least) favourable access to JND products.....then I don't know what to tell you. I think those things alone might inspire him to make comments that would attract potential buyers.

The reasons you provide for all those licenses not seeing additional love, are all valid - that's not my point. My point is, WHEN those pieces were released, there were specific statements and undeniable hints that companion pieces would be made....regardless of why they didn't happen, they still didn't happen. I think you're being disingenuous if you really believe people aren't buying certain JND characters with the expectation / hope that other characters from the line will be made.....in fact, it's not just disingenuous, it's ignorant - all you need to do is go spend 20mins on the JND collectors FB page, and you'll see message after message begging JND for one or another character to be made - specifically from licenses they already hold, but haven't exploited.
