Akuma in the Ultra line?
Kinda quiet today so to go along with the impending reveal of Zangief...
If Akuma gets in the Ultra line thoughts of these poses?
Ashura Senku
Zanku Hadoken
Save these a Mixed Media revisit?

He's not in V, so not sure if he will be included in the Ultra line...

That would probably reduce his chances if it was any other character, but Akuma probably transcends that. It's not like the 1:6 line, where it's based specifically on "V-triggers", after all. And anyway, I think there's a good chance Akuma's coming for season 2 DLC.
We know that a MM revisit is coming next year though, so I doubt an Ultra is due in the near term.
About the pose...Jerry's pretty ballsy with the Ultra line! Have you noticed, not one, but all three shown so far are pretty precarious, one-foot poses? That would probably make your first option most likely. I think it may not be action-oriented enough though. Could do a tatsu pose, but that's probably better suited for another shoto.

At some point in the near future Akuma will be in SFV.

Didn't know the MM was confirmed as next for Akuma, thanks. Yeah Jerry's been doing some out there poses for the Ultra line which I like put sometimes the 1 foot thing bothers me.

Ultra isnt limited to SFV. Vega isnt the SFV version.
Im sure you will see Akuma in the Ultra line sooner than later.
Ultra line is selling really well.

I'm glad to hear that it's selling well. I'm hoping that Zangief comes up soon to p.o. I would love to get Sagat, Balrog, or Dhalsim in the Ultra line

I always thought his teleport pose would make a good statue. I think the EX version looks better though.
