Have that museum Thor and love it. One of Randy's best.

Long story, but I sold this puppy to a local comic shop months and months ago. Never saw it there so I'm assuming it sold, or they had it in back. My plan was to get the red "gargoyle" version, but they seemed to simply disappear from Ebay, at least for US sellers, or they were 700 dollars.

I started to regret it, and saw that even the "museum" piece I'd sold was worth a bit more than it was when I purchased it, years ago. Daredevil is my favorite character (besides Kingpin) so I started to feel crappy, without "representation". And all the Sideshow DD pieces I'd missed out on were $$$, especially that Shadowland one!

So, I went back to that comic shop this weekend and there it was, for 100 dollars (no box, so pretty cheap). I re-homed it and won't part with it again!

Basically, think long and hard before "sizing down"! I sold off my 3 inch figure vehicles and playsets, just keeping the figures I really loved, and sold my mini-busts as well, but it was a mistake to sell this statue.

KonMari "sparks joy" lol...

Nice. That was my first Bowen piece. Sold it a long time ago. It’s dated but still looks great IMO.

That was my first Bowen statue and was purchased when it was first released. I sold it years ago and ended up buying the gargoyle version as well as the yellow museum. I repurchased it about a year ago as I found myself regretting selling it. Something just so simple and classic about it. Due to a very minor inconspicuous paint blemish, I got it for slightly less than it cost when new.

Had this DD as well for many years. It's a simple but well done statue. I did end up selling it eventually and picked up the red DD on gargoyle piece. Even though I liked the original DD, I'm very happy I made the switch.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Congrats! I have that DD and it's one of my favorites in my collection (as you can tell from my avatar). It'll be one of the last ones I sell if it ever comes to that. Randy sure knows how to sculpt museum pieces that stand the test of time.

My first Bowen full size and still have it. I was never a big Daredevil reader but felt he is one of the A listers that deserved to be in my collection.
