Do I like it and can I afford it are basically it for me. If I'm thinking about reselling down the road and what I'll get back, then how much do I really like it and should I really be spending the money on it to begin with? I've never purchased anything with the intent of reselling, and have basically been very fortunate that when I decided to sell or was made an offer have rarely lost any money.
If you buy ONLY what you like (and not something to impress other people or because it sticks to some pre-determined theme), you'll never be disappointed.

It's that simple for me also Drew. I learned my lesson in the comics and sports card markets of the late 80s and early 90s.
