That's so painful to look at! My heart goes out to the owner.

..with my IKEA Detolf cab's i use steel u-clamps to support the glass shelf's, and replace the glass shelf's with double thickness glass, as IKEA Detolf glass shelf's are not designed to take the weight of some 1/4 statues. Both my Ms Marvel 1/4 and Black Widow 1/4 are located at ground level, as they are heavy!

I have spotted some on this forum who do place 1/4 statues on IKEA Detolf glass shelf's.
Detolf glass shelves are surprisingly strong, I wouldn't recommend putting expensive 1:4 statues on them but a lot of people do.

That's my pic, brother! I got it up to 95 pounds for a few months before my wife re-purposed that shelf space for blanket storage. That's one single glass shelf even, not two.

I'm sure "Oh my God" is literally what we all here have said or thought looking at that pic.

Hahahahaha. My detolfs creak and make so much noise when I turn the heat up.

Oh man, this is terrible. I feel for that person.

Even if insurance pays out, it would be very hard to assemble that collection again. I don't know if I'd have the heart to do it.

Yeah maybe momentarily, but how LONG could they hold that much weight for is the real question. Detolfs IMO are only good enough for small 1/6 scale statues.
