The Marvel Unlimited Thread

I just got my son 1 years Marvel Unlimited subscription so that he can read up on all the classics. I have myself been away the past 10 years from Marvel Comics so what would recommend to search in the Marvel Unlimited app and read up on. Apparently it has about 30.000 marvel comics accesible.

Just re-read all the stuff you liked in the past. Nothing worth reading from the last 14 years.

Jason Aaron's run on Thor falls within that timeframe. I read the first half featuring the God Butcher story with art by Esad Ribic and thought that was great.

I stopped reading Marvel monthlies for the most part in 2020, but the only books from the last ten years I liked enough to consider worth rebuying in premium hardcover format were Secret Wars (2015) and the X-Men relaunch, House of X / Powers of X. However, those were both written by Jonathan Hickman, whom I know is very divisive around here so I'm hesitant to 100% recommend those.

Well, i haven't read anything beyond Bendis run, but everyone says Daredevil is consistantly good. Immortal Hulk had great priases as well. Actually, i haven't seen any other Marvel run create the good word of mouth around itself like the Immortal Hulk. People were loosing their ---- that how good it was, while it was coming out monthly.

Thanks for the tips! I just put him on a tight schedule to read up on some classics. Starting with Sal Buscemas run on Incredible Hulk from issue around 268 forward to around 300 and then John Byrnes run on X-men..
