I wish this was 1/4 or 1/3 scale. It is an amazing piece but when it is smaller than 1/4, it tends to look like a cheap toy. I would pay 800+ for a larger scale version of this. Blitzway missed their opportunity to make something really special

Its hard to judge scale for this one. He’s 12” tall (1/6) but 2 or 3 times wider than a standard 1/6 scale character and his head is much larger. Also he’s a “boy” and only chest high to an adult which pushes the scale up probably to at least 1/4 scale equivalent. I was just measuring him up against a 1/4 to get a size idea and proportion wise he’s gonna look like a giants child in even 1/4.

Quick size comparison to 1/4 scale: 20.5” vs 18.5”. He’s a lot smaller still his head is bigger, probably 1/3 scale size

Got this email in the middle of the night
"We are sorry to inform you that we are unable to ship the product 'Astro Boy' to you.
Due to Corona Virus, there are some regions which Chinese EMS are not allowed to deliver our products.
Please accept our sincere apology and understand the situation that we can't help but refund your deposit.
Thanks"
Good thing I pre-ordered it the day it went up, scumbags.

That does suck! So you live in a no delivery zone? Do they expect that will last forever?? Sounds weird.... did anyone get this yet?

Very odd they would just outright cancel it without offering an alternative shipping. I've been getting statues & collectibles via shops and proxy services from Japan and Asia/China throughout the virus to the US. I do know those territories can't ship via EMS at the moment but DHL and FedEx 3-day are available for them to ship stuff overseas. I'd ask them if they could ship via DHL. It will be more $ but it's worth a try.

Agreed, my more recent shipments direct from China have been DHL instead of EMS. Cost was about $100 more.
