Master Troyboy's technique and materials

Hi there,
I dunno if I can ask or talk about that here, but I think troyboy hasn't time to answer my questions.....

I think Troyboy is the best sculptor here and I think he can make everything he (or you) wants. After saying that, I'd like to ask some questions and possibly have them answered by someone of you that know any info:

- what material does it use for his statue's body?
- and for the head??
- what does he use for polishing them?
- what kind and brand of colors does he use?
- what is his color technique?
- does he apply anything on dried paint?

Thanx to everyone will answer.......and.....UP WITH TROYBOY!!!

- what material does it use for his statue's body? - most of the time Super Sculpty.

- and for the head?? - heads and hands are usually made from wax

- what does he use for polishing them? - alcohol and or lighter fluid are the most common chemicals used

super sculpey regular is pink. the firm and extra firm version are grey in color. They need to be baked in an oven after you're done.
i've seen some posts about success with simply boiling the sculpts after they're done too.

you're right troyboy is amazing! i taught him everything he knows.

also. troy might not see this thread cuz you titled him as TRIYBOY

Yeah, Troy's a MACHINE! Seriously though, has anyone met Troy? What if he's like Hal from 2001? A super advanced A.I. programmed to be better than all of us at sculpting. The truth is out there, you can't ignore it forever.

I met him at last years Wonderfest, and I know for a fact he will be there again this year.

He is AWESOME! One of the nicest guys you'd ever care to meet.

Of course you have to overlook the fact that he's the evil Overlord of the Bobo clones he keeps locked up in his basement sweat shop, which he only feeds bananas in exchange for them doing all his sculpting ... but other than that ... he's AWESOME!

This will NOT be overlooked... as someone who has rescued #1 (the original bOBo ) I see the devilish man that Troy really is... he posts all these incredible WIPS and pieces and would have you believe he's just an amazingly talented sculptor, a good buddy, and nice as can be...

But I know the evil that lurks behind the curtain.
