Disney can do what they like....true...but Disney in the future might not have such a great rep...play with fire you get burnt,...I'm a big marvel fan...but I'm not starting to like what I see at Disney with marvel...leaving a very bad taste in my mouth...

I know Disney owns Marvel, but I wonder what the people at Marvel think about all this, or are they just all a bunch of yes men now? I wonder what would happen if all the comic faithful started inundating Marvel with correspondence of all kinds stating their disgust with what's happening. Maybe it's fanciful to think that the Marvel people would feel the same and rise up and mutiny, but I need some sort of fairy tail miracle here.

You guys that are saying Disney may be in trouble in the future or play with fire you get burnt are funny.
Disney, and Marvel. One is a company that for years was embattled with editorial problems, went bankrupt in the 90's and had to sell off movie and TV rights to stay alive to make comics. The other is a company that's run a successful studio since the 40's, the worlds most popular and successful theme park since the 70's, and last year alone made around 500 million off of the Disney princess line of toys alone.
Disney will be fine without making X-Men staues. If they would suffer from it, they wouldn't have made this decision.

Not to mention all the revenue they're going to get from the Star Wars franchise.
