It depends on various factors like size of the bust, the popularity of the sculptor and how much works a sculptor put into the sculpt etc...
There's no set-price for any original piece, though it has certain artisitc value but the actual value is still how much you're willing to pay for it.
And the best way to find out is to contact the sculptor himself and work out a deal that is acceptable for both of you.

Each sculptor commands different rates, and they can vary greatly.
Size and complexity of item all play a part in price.
Best to contact each sculptor directly for a quotation.

And besides that, no sculptor will (or should) glibly (or otherwise) announce rates on open forum ... if you're interested in having a piece made by someone, simply put up a picture of who and ask sculptors to contact you.
I would also suggest stocking up on an EXTRA LARGE supply of patience pills!

i charge $100 per inch for a regular figure (that means human with no gear on like armor and what not .) so a 12" fig would be $1200 if it has gear and is very buisy i will charge more.

So, when you actually get the piece after you get sculptor, pay, work out details, when you get it is the piece soft like clay or is it hard like the mini busts from BD? Just askin..............

I think I need to start charging more for my work, in light of what someone else posted.

Sculpy is baked and will be solid, though still not as sturdy as resin over the long term IMO, epoxy solidifies pretty hard too ... but every piece should be cast in resin, even if it's a 1 of a kind.
