Aw, crap. This guy was a real staple of my 1970s comic book reading. He was so active on Facebook, too, this took me by surprise.

I met him in 2002 in Philly with his wife, I believe. He was seated beside Dick Giordano. Very kind fellow who helped keep 70s Marvel alive and well.
