Got my Marcus bust in the mail today. Not happy about the big whole in it though. Would have refused it and sent it back but, George says that there are no more to be had.

It's always frustrating, but that is what the brown shipping box is for ultimately. And it looks like it did its job.

Inside everything is OK. I have a new respect for the shipper box.

How on earth can they rip it like that?! Anyone who owns ECC pieces knows how sturdy that box is. With the metal clamps. It's a joke. CAn you complain at the delivery service and get some of the delivery fee back?

that shipper box is pretty bad, but you have to fight it really hard just to get money back on a damaged statue during transit, let alone for a damaged box.

Received mine today. No damage or any flaws that I can notice.
I've gotta say, and I'm not entirely sure why, but I'm a bit underwhelmed. It's got a great paint job, a great sculpt, a nice size, but for some reason I'm just not very impressed.
I feel that a $700-$800 price tag would have been more appropriate for this.
The lighting in the room I have it in at the moment is quite poor, perhaps once I view it in better lighting my opinion will change.

Sometimes I have the same feeling. I remember the time I opened my Grim Reaper from Sideshow. I was not impressed at all. And then I moved to another room and I was blown away as I should be!
Light can be a b-tch with statue!

I have a few statues that underwhelmed at first, but grew on me. Hopefully this will have a similar effect on you.
