Put me down as somebody that does not like SSC comi,i had it in order twice and i just couldn't pull the trigger,it's weird looking. I have the bowen venom vs spidey and its ok,but not the best out there. I'll just wait for a new one to come out (and it will) and i'll finally have a 1/4 scale Venom.

That 1/2 scale has a worst pose that the ssc,Imo.

My vote for the BEST Venom statue as depicted by the master photographer insomniac.

Bowen's is cool, but doesn't beat out the Sideshow comiqutte. I too, like some other people here, do not like that 1/2 Venom at all. I think it kind of looks ridiculous.

the only reason that venom sells for 800 is because it is 1/4 scale

everyone is obsessed with 1/4

how many times has someone said 1/4th or nothing all.

Just because a statue is bigger does not necessarily mean it is better!!

Sorry to say this, but I don't understand when people ask others what they should buy...to me...if you like it...YOU should make the decision, not others. It's your money, your collection...I understand valuing opinions of others, but ultimately it comes down to what you're happy with.
well said!!

That is very true, the only reason I get 1/4 is you can put more details into the bigger statues and it goes well with the premium formats. Some 1/5 and 1/6 statues may have been well sculpted (Bowen Black Cat, Koto Batman) but just does not fit the large dynamic displays I have planned.

SSC Venom still the best out there to me even with the scale the details of the texture or the tongue itself and the bits of custume dripping off onto the ledge is fantastic.

SSC Venom does not sell for 800 because it is big, it sells for 800 because the sculpt is beyond words.

By your reasoning Namor and Surfer should sell for 800, they are just as big.

But in this case, it is better :tounge: There are some people here (name withheld) that always blabs "1:4 or fail" which to me is There are fantastic sculpts at 1:5 scale like Angel and yet they always ditch it. But in this case (it doesn't matter what scale this is), the Venom comiquette is a fantastic sculpted to begin with. That is why it sell as high as it is right now.

I don't! Think of the prices he would be charging? If a 1:6 scale statue is now $250, how much do you think a 1:4 scale be? My guess would be over $400....
