I guess my comment was related to more recent pieces. I am not a fan of this piece. I also don't like their 1/4 Snyder Superman piece and I thought the paint lacked on their recent Black Widow piece. I feel like some of their recent pieces have gotten sloppy.

The funny thing is I actually have six 1/4 scale Iron Studios pieces (all Marvel). Most of these were earlier pieces from their Age of Ultron and Civil War lines.

Funny thing is I personally have no interest for DC pieces in 1/4 scales as I’m in mostly in 1/3 scale because of Prime 1, so I didn’t even remember about these Snyder pieces until this week.

And I have all of Iron Studios 1/4 MCU pieces released (and a duplicate Cap CW set) except for that Black Widow, but I think I have the rest on preorder. So the ones that made you hesitant I’ve kind of ignored for various reasons.

But I’m also preordering all of Queens pieces in busts, 1/2 and 1/4 scales, except for all their Iron Man pieces but for a couple here and there, as I’ve already got quite a few Iron Man pieces.

I was already out of room with my first Queen Studios piece, and now after nearly a dozen pieces in I have another dozen preorders for them and it is increasing with nearly every announcement.

I would say no. There may have been times that they have but I don’t currently remember.

All I remember are the couple of times I’ve messaged them about simple inaccuracies and them not fixing it upon production.

The easiest one had to do with their very first Black Panthers that they released in 1/4 and 1/10 scale. They were missing the silver accents on his face on a couple of raised sculpted sections on the face. So they didn’t need to change the sculpt at all; all they needed to do was paint a couple of raised lines silver and they still couldn’t do that.

After getting one of those official Art of the Movie books I finally realised why, as it seems that the less silver look was how the character model looked early in the production of the movie, and somewhere between then and the opening of the film it had changed.

So I guess these companies sometimes get their character models months/years before they show their statues, and so probably by the time they get final approval on a statue, they’re unwilling or unable to make a simple change as that may require license approval again.

I asked them about including switch outs for their 1/4 Luke and Grogu statue like a CoH with hood up and arm holding lightsaber. They told me they weren't changing it.

Pretty much cemented the fact I doubt I'll ever order from them in the future. I'll give someone like Queen Studios my business.

Not many of these studios end up listening to critiques. The older a company gets the less likely that is. Like the new Peacemaker figure from Hot Toys should be thrown into the fire, but I doubt that’ll happen.

I was actually amazed that Queen actually pulled the Captain America bust as that was all ready to go up for preorder but because of the negative reaction of only having the Mjolnir arm it went back for review.

I was willing to preorder, but now I’m concerned that rather than having another arm option, that they may just cut off the entire right arm and let it go at that.
