Yeah, I hope people (especially collectors) have enough common sense to pick them up by the base. Now kids getting their hands on them is another story.

Practically every statue I get I carefully remove them from the box, lifting them out by the base.

I moved it like it was the Mona Lisa. Carefully removing it from the box and caring it 2 feet to it's display and it still cracked.

If this was a 2 piece statue we wouldn't have this problem.

Should I tell my seller? It is insured but I bought it around a week ago.

the same happen to my favorite dc direct statue of green arrow, but it was on his right foot on the generator. what i did was..... the hair line crack was across his top foot so i squeezed crazy glue right into the hair line cracked waited 10 seconds then squeezed it down....then wola!!!!!!!!! it glued down and hardly noticeable. its good enough for me, and im not trying to buy a new one they go for like 285.00 on the bay.

this is why DC DIRECT NEEDS TO PUT PEGS IN THERE STATUES!!!!!!!!! seperate from the base.

I hope they do.

Do you think I could crazy glue her ankle...I'm scared as hell to put pressure on it. One other member is suggesting epoxy...he gave me a whole tutorial. That's why I'm so grateful for this site...so many are willing to help!

Also it helps with the grieving process when I can talk to others that have gone through the same.

If its happening during shipping that sucks.
Only reason I thought it could be handling is because alot of ppl have breaks with the Attakus General Grievous statue because they don't handle it by the base- the company recommends you do, due to the delecate nature of the statue...
