I think it looks great even with a similar pose.
I like the environmental ice base a lot. Matches Scorpion's.
Don't care for the ice ball so similar to the MK9 statue though.
Still would have preferred this. I mean just print the most iconic image add a light for the ice ball and call it perfect.

The character and the base don't gel as well as the MK9 sculpt. That base was 'reacting' to, or a 'by-product' of Sub-zero. This base looks cool by itself, but it's as if Sub-zero just decided to stand on some icy spikes somewhere.

While I do like it, after thinking about it some more I would have preferred something a tad bit different. Hopefully there are swap out arms that allow for both displays from the original render and the mk9 similarity pose.

I like the pose, its like hes stepping over the water all the weight on his right leg, like he's going to push off the base and throw that ice ball.
I need to see more angles and the ice ball totally makes sense it's just super similar to the MK9 piece lol. Hopefulyl we get a switch out or 2 like the MKX Scorp.
Still ordering to match up with Scorpion of course and no longer have my MK9 pieces. The MK9 Subzero is amazing but the MK9 Scorpion really isn't great at all, the gap between them was too much and PCS had come on leaps and bounds int he time.
Like i said int he bust thread, i love that they have gone full on with the fire and ice motif and i love it here too.

This and the MKX Scorpion will make real nice companion pieces indeed. I dont collect these but I can see how alot of thought has gone into how they will display as a team facing off.
