So in y’all’s opinion is this a good sculpt? I’ve had this statue for 3 months and I thought it was good, but now I’m second guessing myself lol.
Only uploaded 1 of the un-helmeted sculpt because that actually looks good to me.

The non-helmet looks great but the helmeted one looks pretty bad, did you get a replacement for the helmet one?

No. The heads were already in the box so I wasn’t sure if either were a replacement or not. I just assumed they were.
I actually just emailed Todd from spec fiction the same pictures I posted on here and he said it looked good.

I had the helmet portrait displayed for about a month and I never had a problem with it, but now I’m probably being paranoid lol.

Your non-helmeted portrait is definitely a replacement one so your good there.

At first, I thought the helmet portrait was an original one but I just got mine out and placed it side by side with your picture, and they look the same so you're good.

I might be wrong (correct me pls) but your helmet portrait does look like the old one, I feel.. It has that slight elongated face with a bit of an uneven helmet on it (if you notice the uneven part in between the eye)

Here's an example of mine:
Left is new replacement one(with my hand holding it), right one is the old helmet portrait

Looking at your pictures is what got me onto this mess lol.
To me, comparing it to your picture, mine is not as good as the one on the left, and not as bad as the one on the right.
I’ll have to look again tonight and If it’s nice outside tomorrow take some better pictures for a better look.

ScoobyDoo, I agree with Austintheng. On the helmeted portrait you have, it’s like the parietal and temporal lobes had been absorbed by the helmet. Even the mouth is crooked, as on the old portrait. I would ask for a replacement.
